HOLOGATE Introduces AgiS Training Replica

Modular platform for realistic training – market launch with AGIS LW PKG95

Hologate introduces AgiS, a new modular training replica platform for law enforcement, military, and security organizations. The market launch begins with the AGIS LW PKG95, the G95 Type profile kit featuring a fully integrated sensor system. The platform is designed to realistically represent weapon systems of the AR15 type. The systems are dedicated training replicas, not weapons, and contain no weapon components. AgiS is fully integrated into HOLOGATE’s XR training solutions and can also be deployed in live training environments.

With AgiS, HOLOGATE strategically expands its portfolio to include the in-house development and production of professional training replicas for law enforcement, military, and security agencies. The platform has been developed in close coordination with partners and clients and addresses concrete operational requirements from real-world training environments.

First Training Replica for the New G95 Profile

The G95 is currently being introduced as the new standard service rifle of the German Armed Forces. With the G95 Type profile kit, HOLOGATE brings to market the first professional training replica that realistically represents this new weapon profile and meets the specific requirements of security and defense organizations.

The replica closely mirrors the ergonomics, weight, and handling characteristics of the original system, enabling organizations to align training programs with the new weapon profile at an early stage. This helps close the gap between system introduction and realistic training capability.

Realism as the Foundation of Training Effectiveness

Training effectiveness depends on physical authenticity. Weight, balance, resistance and recoil must be realistically represented to ensure that muscle memory and handling skills remain reliable under operational stress.

Operating forces for the charging handle, trigger, and safety selector are calibrated accordingly. The integrated blowback recoil system delivers stable recoil with a full bolt stroke and a realistic rate of fire.

An embedded logic system ensures that the replica cycles only under correct operating conditions. The system will not cycle without a magazine inserted or without being cocked. Handling errors have immediate consequences and enhance training effectiveness.

“From my own experience as a former military officer, I have experienced how decisive realistic training is for operational readiness. Training must take place under conditions that closely reflect actual deployment. That is exactly the standard we aim to achieve with AgiS,” says Robert Fankhänel, COO of HOLOGATE.

Developed for Demanding Training Conditions

AgiS has been designed for intensive professional use. Core components are built for durability and sustained operational load.
The magazine matches the dimensions and weight of a fully loaded standard-issue magazine and can be dropped from any height without compromising functionality. This detail reflects the platform’s design philosophy: realistic use without protective handling.

The system operates fully untethered. Power supply, compressed air system and wireless data transmission are integrated. An air tank supports approximately 200 cycles and can be exchanged within seconds. This architecture increases mobility, simplifies logistics and reduces long-term operating costs.

Integration into the HGXR Training Ecosystem

HGXR is HOLOGATE’s XR platform for professional training and simulation across law enforcement, military, security, and industry. It enables realistic tactical scenarios, decision-making, and stress simulation, as well as data-driven performance evaluation. The platform is already deployed by the German Armed Forces and by law enforcement agencies across Europe.

AgiS is fully integrated into this XR ecosystem. The integrated sensor system transmits movement data and system states to the HGXR platform in real time. Physical handling and digital training environments work seamlessly together. At the same time, AgiS can also be deployed independently of XR systems in live training scenarios.

By combining realistic recoil mechanics, robust construction, integrated sensor technology, and a system architecture designed for flexible deployment, HOLOGATE establishes a new system approach in professional training environments.

“Operational readiness is built on realism,” says Leif Petersen, CEO of HOLOGATE. “With AgiS, we add a physical dimension to our portfolio, seamlessly connecting immersive XR scenarios with conventional training formats.”
